Prenatal Stretching Flow
During the second half of pregnancy it is a good idea to start shifting your movement routine into more releasing and opening. But it’s also really important to not push your tissues too far. During pregnancy your body is releasing a hormone called relaxin, that helps your body to soften and open, it can be easy to over stretch.
This video will take you through a whole body stretching flow that will leave you feeling more open and balanced.
This video can be for anyone, but is focused on the second half of pregnancy. I’m currently in my very late 3rd trimester, but it can be done during any trimester. Please make sure to listen to your body and modify accordingly.
👉 For this class you might want a couple pillows or towels to make the stretches more comfortable.
Depending on your current flexibility levels and how far along you are, try to do some sort of stretching 5 times per week optimal benefits.
