One-on-One Run Coaching

Whether you are an injury prone runner, a mama who just gave birth or would like to PR at your next race my goal is to provide you with an individualized coaching and training plan to help you safely navigate the demands of runnings. I understand the importance of balancing work, family and fun. My training programs fit the needs of the individual! When writing a training plan for you, I take into consideration your past running history, your current lifestyle and your future goals to maximize the benefits of this training program.

When working one-on-one, good communication is a very important component. I make sure to keep regular communication with my athletes so I can continue to better customize their workouts. I like keeping open communication about the workouts my athletes are doing and how they are mentally and physically handling the stresses of workouts and day-to-day life.

Getting back into running after giving birth, or coming back from an injury, can be really hard and unfortunately the road back to running usually isn’t linear. This means that there will most likely be some ups and downs, working with me as your coach will help ensure you that those ups and downs are indeed normal. I know when to keep pushing you as a runner and when we need to ease it back.

I have been running competitively since the 8th grade and unfortunately the more I got into running, the more often I got injured. So I know first hand about the struggles and lack of motivation when you can’t run and I know what it’s like to try and come back from an injury.

That’s why I decided to start coaching, I want to be able to help other runners get out of their injury cycle (or get back into running after giving birth) and to be able to feel strong and confident in their body again.

I studied exercise science in undergraduate and learned the tools and science behind what makes a good running program. Then while in chiropractic school I learned about human biomechanics and how the whole body is connected.

Through these 8+ years of education and my own trial and errors, I have developed my own protocol to help decrease the rate of injuries for runners. Not only do I take a whole body approach I also take a whole lifestyle approach. Your daily movements, stress, habits and exercises all play a key role in healing you and keeping you running injury free.

If you are ready for a different approach to running, I would love to work with you!

 Meet Patrick

“I was looking for someone that has seen success in the ultra distances, has experienced injuries

themselves and has the knowledge and expertise on how to avoid them in the future.

Through coaching, I learned the importance of balance between strength training, running and specific exercises to target my areas of weakness.”
