Hand Flow

Hand tension can effect your elbow, shoulder and neck. If you have pain in any of those areas, you can’t ignore this hand flow!

I know you are probably thinking that a hand flow is a waste of your time, but let me tell you why you are wrong! You use your hands all day long! You use your hands when you cook, text, type, drive, work, climb, bike, hold things, etc.... You get it now, you use your hands all day long. Now let me ask you this, when is that last time you did anything to support your hands and to keep them happy? …. Crickets.... Crickets....?

In this video I will guide you through several hand exercises and stretches that you can do to keep your fingers and wrists happy. These are simple movements that you can easily add into your daily life more to keep your hands and wrists happy!

Hand and wrist pain tends to be a slow gradual onset from years of overuse. This leads to decreased joint range of motion, tight muscles and then pain. All of these things can easily be avoided if you just give your hands a little TLC every now and then.

This video is meant for all ages and mobilities. Feel free to modify any of the movements to better fit your body. If you have a hard time sitting on the floor, try sitting on pillows or sit on a chair. This is your hand flow! All you need for this class is a small ball or a half lacrosse ball.

If you find that during this video your hands and wrists are tighter than you thought, try doing this hand flow 2-3 times per week for 1-2 months for optimal improvements.
